I am thrilled to say that I’ve been nominated for my first blogger award by Avani at Reads, Rhythms AND Ruminations. Please check out her wonderful blog.
Although I posted my first blog post in July, I began seriously blogging this month, and I have received such a warm welcome to the WordPress/Blog community. In just this one short month, my followers grew to over 125, and I have received my first award. Thank you all for being supportive of my blog!

7 Facts About Me
1. I own a dog named Teddy. You probably already know this because I take an excessive amount of photos of him and post them on the internet. He likes the idea of eating human food (I say idea because we don’t let him have any, don’t worry 🙂 ) and barking at things that might be squirrels but are actually just shadows on the lawn. He also likes to cuddle ONLY when I am sitting down to write, and even though I nicely explain to him that right now is unfortunately not a good time, he lays across my keyboard until I pick him up.
2. I love Potatoes. Are they a vegetable? Are they a carb? I don’t know! I just know that they are delicious. The most beautiful thing about the potato is its versatility. They can be mashed, baked, fried, oh my!
3. I’ve been to 7 countries not counting my own, including Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Canada, Switzerland, and Austria.
4. I hate when people use lowercase i’s.
5. My favorite season is autumn. Schools starts, which I like, because it brings routine back, sweaters and leggings are back in style, and there is NO MORE SWEATING!
6. I cannot do a french braid. My hair has always been too short to hold one, and I seemed to miss the initiation of girlhood when this skill was introduced.
7. I love putting math and science into my poetry. The contrast between letters and numbers, facts and theories, is so pleasant and intriguing to explore!
I nominate:
2. StoryScope
3. This is Lit
9. From the Tip of Grace’s Pen
10. A Teenage Look On The Writing Process
If you have already received this award or don’t want to do it, no pressure at all! Just consider this a shoutout to how cool you all are.

Thank you for nominating me! Also, we have a lot in common. Lowercase “i”s are the WORST! And sweating, ew.
I’ll do the post by today for sure. Oh and, your dog is adorbs! Say hi to Teddy for me.😊

Of course! It is no mistake that the letters of “ew” can be found in sweating.
Aww, thanks!

Congratulations on your award. Truly fantastic after such a short time.
Potatoes are a vegetable, being plants, but are packed full of carbs. They also contain Vitamin C, but that’s water soluble, so much can be lost when boiling the spuds.
I too think your dog is so-o cute.

Thank you for the nomination! ❤ Your dog is adorable (he looks so happy), and I can't french braid either.
Its so magical watching someone french braid their own hair without looking- I can't even plait by hair properly, let alone a french braid!

I love your dog! I can french braid and dutch braid and other fun braids but only because I grew up braiding horses manes and tails 😉

That’s so cool! I tried braiding my dog’s hair but for some reason that didn’t work out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Potatoes are indeed brilliant – boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew! Some Samwise Gamgee to commemorate such a food.

Haha! Nothing like a potato 🙂

Your dog is adorable! I want to just cuddle with him right now! I can french braid but I can’t have one in my hair. My hair is just not cut correctly to hold one. I would love to be able to hold one in my hair but it doesn’t work.

Aw, thank you! Sometimes my friends do a side french braid in my hair! Maybe you could try that? My hair is too short for a full one.

I’ll have to try that someday!

I am literally doting on Teddy right now. ❤ His description was adorably cute. I could actually visualize him rolling over your keyboard.

Autumn is my favourite season as well.
Such a cute photo of your dog. I didn’t know dogs enjoy lying on the keyboard. Lol. When I bring my laptop to my parents and I start typing, their cat always comes running.
