I’m Vivian, and I love a good story.

Bio

Vivian DeRosa is a writer from New Jersey. As a current student at Smith College, she studies English, Creative Writing, and Archives. She is an instructor at Project Write Now, where she teaches creative writing classes and organizes community events, and a student worker in Smith College’s Special Collections, where she has helped process the Alison Bechdel Papers and the Old Lesbian Oral History Project, among other collections. She has been honored as a 2019 Presidential Scholar in the Arts, a 2020 Aspen Words Emerging Writer Fellow, and a 2022 Lambda Literary Emerging Writers Fellow. Her writing has been published in the Huffington PostPoets Reading the News, and Lunch Ticket. Currently, she’s working on a novel.
